GRM Windows Supplies Energy-Efficient Windows for Midlothian’s Landmark Passivhaus Housing Project
Project Overview
GRM Windows is proud to be supplying the high-performance windows for Midlothian Council’s most ambitious energy-efficient housing development to date — a £24 million Passivhaus-standard project in Easthouses, on the former site of Newbattle High School, Morris Road.
The development, being delivered by Ogilvie Construction, will provide 90 new homes designed and built to the rigorous Passivhaus Standard, known for its ultra-low energy requirements and exceptional comfort. The new properties — a mix of flats, houses, and bungalows — will form part of a wider plan to deliver 207 council homes across Midlothian that meet the same high performance standards.
